Preparation for the examination

One day before the visit, you should exclude from the diet sour-milk products, carbonated drinks, alcohol, raw vegetables and fruits. In the morning on the day of the visit eat a light breakfast. If the visit is scheduled in the afternoon, you should stop eating 3 hours before the examination.

In the evening on the eve of the visit (at 19:00-20:00) it is necessary to make two cleaning enemas in volume of 1-1.5 liters with the use of Esmarch’s irrigator (rubber “hot-water bottle” with a hose) or a usual bulb syringe and one enema 3 hours before the visit. Tap water can be used, but necessarily equal to the body temperature.
