I have tinea versicolour, but no ointments and creams help to cure it. Am I doing something wrong? I adhere to all recommendations, but nothing helps, I don't know what to do. Is it possible to have an online consultation with you?
Answer: 03.12.2020

Tinea versicolour is a fungal disease that is quite easily treated with local, sometimes pill, antifungal drugs. Tinea versicolor often leaves light spots that fade over time, but can be misleading. There are several methods of confirming the diagnosis, one of them is a microscopic examination of scrapings from the rash site. Yes, we conduct online consultations, you are welcome to contact us!

A strange rash appeared on the body and face, bulging spots of a large size, with a clear outline, they are itching. Facial edema is present. I already had this once last year, rashes appeared in the evening, and by the evening of the next day, everything was gone. Last time I went to a dermatologist in Kyiv, but this time I don't even know if it makes sense to see a doctor. Maybe I can wait and everything will pass by itself?
Answer: 03.12.2020

We recommend you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment tactics. You may have an allergic reaction given the swelling of your face. You should see a specialist as soon as possible. Delay can be dangerous!!

I have a lot of acnes on my back. What could cause it and how can it be treated? I have already made a lot of tests but still the treatment failed. I would like to consult a dermatologist from Kyiv.
Answer: 03.12.2020

Аcne is a chronic disease of sebaceous glands. There are plenty of initiating agents ranging from endocrine profile disorders to unhealthy diet and inadequate skin care. Genetic predisposition (heritability) proves rather essential. Indeed, there may be no significant deviations in the tests in case of acne. The doctor will select the proper care, local or systemic treatment, give recommendations on nutrition and (if necessary) prescribe additional examinations, consultations by related specialists. Unfortunately, it is impossible to choose an effective treatment regimen without personal consultation and, moreover, it is unsafe.

White spots have started appearing on my skin in the last 2 years. The number and area of the spots increases slowly and nothing helps yet. Tell me, do you have experience in treatment of this disease? Can you help?
Answer: 30.01.2014
Hello! White spots on the skin is a symptom of many diseases. It is more likely vitiligo, pityriasis versicolor, white spot disease (Tsumbush disease), and leucoderma. In ON Clinic vitiligo is not treated. Treatment of vitiligo is a very long and very costly process without the ability to predict recovery and any effect of treatment (in some cases, the method of choice is skin transplantation). White spots is not a diagnosis, but a symptom, so we can offer you consultation of our dermatologist for further reasoned choice of tactics of behavior. We will be glad to help you!

Hello! My dad (53 years old) is having a furuncle on the leg. He applied aloe, an eruption of small pustules appeared around it. What tests does he need to make to find out the diagnosis? Thank you in advance.
Answer: 30.01.2014
Hello! First of all, a visual inspection is required. To verify the pathogen, the analysis of smear or discharge from the wound or the contents of pustules should be performed. For selection of adequate therapy there is an antibiotic diagram. You may require clinical tests – complete blood count. In some cases, a blood test is required for suspected infection generalization and a blood test for sterility (but in this case, your father would have had quite different complaints).

Since last summer I started to have small pimples on décolleté, shoulders and back. The hotter it is outside, the more of them appear. Literally on every millimeter.
Answer: 08.08.2013

Hello! These complaints may be caused by disorders of sebaceous glands, streptodermia (because of sweating, there are perfect conditions for Streptococcus), reaction to ultraviolet (fotodermatitis). The success of treatment depends essentially on an accurate diagnosis. Come for internal consultation of a dermatologist. We will be glad to help!
